On July 1, 2014 we took over the lease on the historic Red Victorian Bed and Breakfast. We will be keeping the name, as well as the tradition of community and intention that the property has held for the past 40 years.
The rooms are receiving a much needed facelift, and the ground floor cafe is being redesigned and reimagined as a thriving collaboration and event space.
The Red Victorian will be a hotel and social club for creative thinkers and innovators.
The hotel has 20 rooms, which will offer short term stays as well as a membership options through the Embassy Network, which targets creatives and modern nomads traveling frequently for work and collaborations.
The ground floor is being redesigned as a member-supported 3rd space for projects, collaboration, events and activities. Members will have full access to the space to host events and activities, meet a friend for a drink, or just to linger. Meals will be provided for residents, guests and members, and once we get up and running we plan to offer family-style dinners several nights a week.
Drop-ins will also be available for those seeking a refuge from the hustle of Haight street.
We are working to get our website ready so you can learn more and make reservations for the hotel. Please stay tuned!
